It has long been said that a cowboy is only as good as his horse so most cowboys I know take great care of their horses. After putting in some long hours, my son Kory lets his horses take a break for a well earned cool drink of water. The one he is holding has just been unsaddled. The deep red color of the horses and the sparkling blue of the water provide a very effective contrast.
